إن الحفاظ على التراث المعماري وحمايته يتطلب قاعدة واسعة من المعرفة، والكفاءات العلمية والعملية، في المجالات التاريخية والإجتماعية والإقتصادية والسياسية والعمرانية والمعمارية والتقنية، ويتطلب تعاوناً وثيقاً بين السلطات المحلية، والشركات والمؤسسات المعنية بالحفاظ على التراث وحمايته.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن إستخدام المباني التاريخية وإعادة توظيفها يُسْهِمُ في الحفاظ عليها، شرط إحترام ميزاتها التاريخيّة والفنيّة، كما أن عمليات إعادة الإحياء للمباني التاريخية يتطلب دوام الصيانة والمراقبة.
ما ورد ضمن هذه الدراسة من منهجيات وأساليب لحماية التراث المعماري وترميمه، وإعادة إحيائه يُعد دليلاً توجيهيّاً يمكن إعتماده، في حماية التراث المعماري بشكل عام، مع ضرورة التأكيد أن لكل مبنى تراثي خصوصيته، التي تحتم علينا نقلها إلى الأجيال القادمة، مع الحفاظ على أصالته وميزاته الفنيّة، وعسى أن نكون قد وفقنا في إيصال الهدف إلى كل الدارسين والمهتمّين.
