الشيخ أكرم بركات (1968 - )، عالم دين شيعي، ناشط في مجال التبليغ والإرشاد وله العديد من المؤلفات والكتب والمحاضرات المنشورة.
دراسته
تلقّى علومه الأكاديمية في بيروت، وقبل إكمال دراسته الجامعية توجّه نحو دراسة العلوم الدينية، فأخذ قسما منها في لبنان قبل التوجه إلى حوزة قم حيث حضر على عدد من أساتذتها في دروس السطوح العليا وبحوث الخارج.
بعد فترة من عودته إلى لبنان عاد ليتابع دراسته الجامعية إلى جانب عمله الديني والتبليغي والإرشادي، فانتسب إلى الجامعة الإسلامية في لبنان وأنهى دراسته فيها بنيله درجة الدكتوراة عن دراسته حول (الكفر والتكفير : ضوابط الإسلام وتطبيقات المسلمين).
عمله في لبنان
تولّى العديد من المهام الثقافية والتبليغية والإرشادية في لبنان منها:

بلغة تجمع بين الشعر والنثر يرسم "أكرم بركات" لوحة ناطقة عنوانها المقاومةـ تعددت مفرداتها فجمعت الكل: الأرض والإنسان والجهاد والتضحية والعطاء والصبر.
في هذا العمل تتجلى بوضوح أثر القيم الدينية والمجتمعية في الأدب فكانت دروساً خية يأخذ الشباب منها العبر لتبقى المقاومة حاضرة في أذهانهم تتناقلها الأجيال ثقافة وأسلوب حياة. يقول المؤلف عن كتابه هذا: "... إنها كلمات نسجت من خيوط القبعة الخضراء بقلم أصفر حاول أن يوشم أحرفاً من ثقافة المقاومة في جسد نفحاتٍ عزاء تعرض لها، ثم عاد ليثبتها في هذا الكتاب عسى أن يبقى شيء من شذاها".
من [الخميني في سفره الرابع] نقرأ للشاعر المهدي فضل الله "يسقي ويشرب لا تلهيه سكرته، عن النديم ولا يلهو عن الكاس/ إطاعه سكره حتى تمكن من، فعل الصحاة فهذا أفضل الناس". محتويات الكتاب: دموع بلا ملح، صراع كتابين، صخرة العروج، الخميني في سفره الرابع، القرى الشهيدة، الشاعر العاصي، حبال إبليس، من "إضرب" إلى "إقرا"، سر الذكر، محرمة الكتب، الأسير الأمير، اللوحة الناطقة...
