قصة حقيقية بعنوان "سعودي مونتانا" وتدور حول نزاع حضانة بين أب سعودي وأم أمريكية.
هذه الرواية لا تتحدث عن نزاعٍ بين ثقافتين ثقافة الشعب الأمريكي وثقافة الشعب السعودي؛ إنما هي تجربة إنسانية شهدت الإفصاحٌ عن مشاعر الحبِّ، والتفاهم، والتعبير عن الاحترام لمرونة ثقافتهم، وانتصارهم للعدالة.
"سعودي مونتانا" تتمحور حول شاب من المملكة العربية السعودية حينما تم ابتعاثه للدراسة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و من ثم زواجه من فتاة أمريكية و بعد ذلك حصول فصول كثيرة من الخلافات نتيجة فوارق اجتماعية و ثقافية و خلال تلك الفترة رزقنا الله بثلاثة أبناء بنتان وولد وبعدها تم اصطحاب الزوجة الأمريكية للعيش في السعودية إلا أنها لم تستطيع التأقلم و العيش في المجتمع الشرقي العربي مما نتج عنه هروبها بأبنائي الثلاثة في ظروف غامضة أثناء حرب الخليج (غزو الكويت) ما اضطرني لبذل الكثير من الجهد والعناء لاستعادة أبنائي و ذلك ليس بالطريقة التي انتهجتها ولكن حرصت على إتباع الطريقة النظامية عبر الإحتكام إلى القانون الأمريكي، و بعد فصول طويلة من المرافعات و القضايا انتهت بحكم قضائي لصالحي، لقد كان قرار محكمة المنطقة القضائية الخامسة بولاية مونتانا، مقاطعة جيفرسون نافذاً، إذ قضى بموجبه منحي حق حضانة أطفالي الثلاثة، ربما هذه أول واقعة قضائية تسجّل من نوعها في تاريخ القضاء الأمريكي.
الرواية عامرة بالكثير من المواقف والمفارقات المثيرة وأيضا المحفزة للتأمل في سياق حوار الثقافات والحضارات ، كما يمكن للقارئ أن يستخلص منها الكثير من الدروس والعبر التي قد تفيده في مشوار الحياة وفي التعامل مع الثقافات الأخرى.
