طاولة من خشب بال تفصل نصلي عن نصله. في الصمت ننادم هاوية لا رجعة منها نرشف من كأس مسموم ,نضحك وكأننا لا نعرف, وكأن القصة لا تعنينا. قال الراوي: وسأبني مملكة للغة وأصعد إدراج السرد إلى حيث سنسقط وتعيش القصة في موتنا. قلت: تريث, غب, لا ترجع قبل أوانك واتركها تكبر عاماً آخر واتركنا ننضج في أصقاع الأخيولة. قال: سأفتح أقفاص اللغة وأطلق جلجلة حديد الأبواب وأنات السرد لأجعل من ليلك أرقاً. قلت: تريث, لا تتوهم, لا تسقط في شرك اللغة فتقتل ما أنبته القص على كفي وقلبك. قال الراوي: ستعيش إذاً كوحوش متعفنة في وفيك فدعنا نخطئ، نطلقها, نتركها تنكسر حتى الموت فتعطي للقصص الآتية حياة كي تولد فينا. قلت وقال الراوي: طاولة الليل تباعد نصلي عن نصله والكأس المسموم على شفتينا. كنا نشرب ,واحدنا يتربص بالآخر واللغة الشرك تحيق بنا تجعلنا نشرب وكأنا لا نعرف.
