من هنا كانت دراسة علم أصول الفقه ذات أهمية كبيرة لكل من يشتغل بالفقه ويتصدى للفتيا والإجتهاد.
أما هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك - أيها القارئ الكريم - فهو كتابٌ جليلٌ تغني مطالعته عن تقريظه ومدارستُه عن مديحه، وهو بعدُ إستجابة لرغبةٍ شخصيةٍ مني لأخي الشقيق الأستاذ الأصولي المحقق الشيخ الدكتور ولي الدين الفرفور حفظه الله تعالى، جمع فيه بين مزايا مؤلفات علمائنا المتقدمين، ومحاسن أعمال علمائنا المعاصرين، وحاول تبسيط هذا العلم مع المحافظة على ما فيه من دقّة النظر، وعمق الفكر، وقوة الإستدلال، وحدّة الجدل، بحيث يغوص طالب العلم في ميدان الخلاف بين العلماء غوصاً يُربّي عنده المملكة العقلية والإجتهادية ليستعين بها في النظر في ما يعترضه من حوادث ووقائع.
