"أمنيتي أن أخرج من المعتقل، وأتزوج لكي أنجب إبنةً أسميها "زينب"، وأكمل عملي الجهادي ثم أستشهد". عندما قال فادي الجزار هذه الكلمات لأحد أصدقائه؛ وهو لا يزال في المعتقل الإسرائيلي، لم يكن يعبّر عن أمنيةٍ وحسب، بل يرسم بريشة روحه المفعمة بالصدق لوحة الأيام التي تطهّرت بدمائه الزكية ونيله الشهادة كما أراد.
في كتابها "طائرٌ من فلسطين" تروي الكاتبة ندى بنجك إشراقات من سيرة الشهيد اللبناني فادي الجزار "أبو زينب" (1971-2013)، هي مشاهد تختصر كل شيء .. كل منعطفات العمر، وكل الحكايات التي عاشها، البطل وكأن أولها جراحٌ وأسر في (فلسطين) وختامها شهادة في (سورية) ، ليكون شهيد كل (لبنان).
قدم للكتاب بكلمة السيد هاشم صفي الدين ومما جاء فيها:
"كتاب (طائر من فلسطين) يوثق لسيرة هذا الشهيد البطل بطريقة أدبية لافتة، ويسلط الضوء على محطات مهمة في شخصيته المؤمنة والهادئة والرصينة، والممزوجة برفيع الإيمان سطوة العزم والشجاعة والإصرار لحث الخطى نحو الشهادة التي حظي بها في معركة "القصير"، تلك الملحمة التي سيبقى يذكرها الجميع في نتائجها الكبيرة في الدفاع عن المقاومة ونهجها ومحورها، وتمهيداً لسلوك الطريق مجدداً محو القدس (...)".
هذا، وقد تزينت صفحات "طائرٌ من فلسطين" برسومات فوتوغرافية (فنية) من حياة الشهيد بريشة الفنانة بتول رضا.
