ويقع الكتاب في اثني عشر فصلاً، كما تحدث الكاتب عن تأسيس المحفظة الإستثمارية، وكذا عن إستراتيجيات الشراء في هذه الأسواق (المضاربة، والإستثمار، والفرق بينهما)، والأساليب والطرق الصحيحة لإختبار الأسهم (التحليل الفني، والأساسي) وتصنيفاتها.
واستعرض كتابه خمسين قاعدة للمضارب والمستثمر، هي خلاصة سنين طويلة من الممارسة، والخبرة، والإستشارة، وتوجيه الناس في هذا المجال الحيوي، وكما يقال بالمثل الصيني: "لا تعطني سمكة؛ ولكن علمني كيف اصطاد".
وفي الكتاب نصائح وطرق يساعد إتباعها - بإذن الله تعالى - على دفع الخسارة، والمحافظة على رأس المال؛ ومن ثم التمتع بالأرباح.
وفي النهاية أعرِّف بعض المصطلحات الشائعة في أسواق المال، وأيضاً مصطلحات إقتصادية تؤثر عليها، وختم الكتاب بنماذج ناجحة في مجال أسواق المال.
