قد يكون عنوان "منتهى الجموع" خير مدخل إلى ولوج عوالم "الحبيب الدائم ربي" البريدية، فهذا العنوان وما يتفرّع منه "رسائل إلى صديقاتي المبدعات" يخفي وراءه عالم البريد نفسه وما يتمظهر عنه من عناصر جعلها الكاتب سردية بامتياز، فاللعبة السردية هنا عمادها تبادل الرسائل أو المراسلة في بُعدها الإنساني ووظيفتها في الذاكرة الوجدانية لزمن لم يمضِ عليه كثير وقت. لذلك وظفه الكاتب بسبل مشروعة، وخلال مسار حياتي وأدبي، ليشكّل تجربة خاصة يقول عنها في (مفتتح الحكاية) "هذه رسائل حقيقية وجهتها إلى بعض من صديقاتي المبدعات خلال العشر سنوات الأخيرة، أنشرها كما هي ومن دون تنقيح، (...) إنها خطابات موجهة إلى من كُنّ وما زلن، عندي، عنواناً للجمال والمحبة والفرح والحياة. إذ يكفيني أن تكون من بين معارفي جموعٌ سليمة للمؤنث كي أعتبر ذلك "منتهى الجموع" وزيادة .. وحين أبغي تعميم هذه الأوراق، كما سأنشر، لاحقاً، رسائل أخرى بعثت بها إلى زملاء وأصدقاء من الرجال،ـ فإنني لا أخرق بذلك ميثاق شرف ولا أفشي ما لا ينبغي لي إفشاؤه .. فالرسائل رسائلي، وما ورد فيها لا يُلزم أحداً سواي (...) إنه كتابة غائية من شأنها أن تردم الفجوة، لدى الكتاب حين يدركون هذا، بين التخييل والمعيش، بين أن نحكي وبين أن نعيش، إذا ما استعرنا عنوان السيرة الذاتية للروائي الكولومبي غارسيا ماكيز (...)".
وبناءً على ما تقدم ذكره نقع في هذا الكتاب على رسائل تتحدث وتبوح وتشتكي، تحمل كل ما يمكن تخيله من أسرار بشرية ومن أرواح انسكبت على الورق، وعيون تحتضن ما تناثر من مشاعر وكل ذلك على صفحات "منتهى الجموع" التي اختار لها الكاتب عناوين رمزية مثل :"عزيزتي ع.ب" ، "العزيزة و.ق" ، و "صديقتي س" وهكذا.
