يوسف فاضل روائي ومسرحي وسيناريست . ولد سنة 1949 بمدينة الدار البيضاء .
سيرته
ولد سنة 1949 بمدينة الدار البيضاء، قضى فترة في أحد معتقلات سنوات الرصاص - معتقل مولاي الشريف (1974/1975). اشتغل بتدريس الفرنسية بالدار البيضاء . انضم إلى اتحاد كتاب المغرب سنة 1982. له العديد من الروايات والمسرحيات المنشورة كما تحولت مسرحيته الأولى "حلاق درب الفقراء" إلى شريط سينمائي أخرجه الراحل محمد الركاب سنة 1982 وحازت روايته "حشيش" (2000) على جائزة الأطلس الكبير . كما حازت روايته التاسعة طائر أزرق نادر يحلق معي على جائزة المغرب للكتاب (2014) و هي أيضا ضمن القائمة القصيرة ل الجائزة العالمية للرواية العربية دورة 2014 .

يتوزع إنتاج يوسف فاضل بين الكتابة المسرحية، القصصية والكتابة الروائية. من بين مؤلفاته المنشورة:

هذا القليلُ من الحظّ الذي يجعلك تقفز إلى الجهة الأخرى من دون أن تسقط في الهاوية؟ ما الذي كان ينقصها، أو ينقص خديجةَ لتتجنّبَ مستشفى الأمراض العقليّة؟ وهل كان سليمان سيعود من السعوديّة ناقصاً، على غير الحالة التي ذهب عليها؟ وهل كان مصطفى سيتجنّب الرصاصةَ التي اخترقتْ وركَه؟...
فرح جاءت من مدينة آزمور لتغنّي... لكنّها لم تغنّ، بل رأت المسجد، كلُّهم رأوْه... ورأوا الإعلانَ في جريدة الصباح: "أيّها المواطنون، ساهموا في بناء المسجد"، كم دفعوا من مالهم ودمهم ليروْه منتصباً، شامخاً، في المساء، عندما تلامس الشمسُ سطحَ الماء؟...
يوسف فاضل: روائيٌّ مغربيّ: صدرتْ له روايتان عن دار الآداب: "قطّ أبيض يسير معي"، و"طائر أزرق نادر يحلّق معي" التي أُدرجتُ ضمن اللائحة القصيرة لجائزة Booker العربية.
