ومن خلال كتاب الكشف للزمخشري وضع الدكتور صالح محمد أبو شارب نموذجاً تطبيقياً لمعياري لسانيات النص : السبك والحبك ، وبهذا سيعالج المشكلة التي جاء من أجلها البحث : وهو إعطاء التراث العربي حقه ، الذي ينبغي أن تظهر فيه الدراسات النصية من خلال لسانيات النص ، لذلك فإن هذا البحث باستهدافه معياري ( السبك والحبك ) سيكشف لنا عما في تراثنا وما حمله من فكر علمائنا في هذا المجال ، وخاصة استخراج الآيات القرآنية التي تتضمن مسائل لغوية لسانية ، وإعادة بناء اللسانيات من منطلق جديد موضوعه : الوحدة الطبيعية للتعامل اللغوي بين المتكلمين ، ألا وهي النص ، مع الإشارة إلى أن المقصود بهذه الكلمة " ليس ذلك المفهوم البسيط في كلامنا العادي ، من أن النص من حجم معين مكتوب أو مطبوع ، وإنما المقصود هو كل فعل تواصلي لغوي : كتابياً كان أم شفوياً " . أما ما يساعد في تماسك النص وترابطه وفقاً للمؤلف " فالسبك يعني الترابط النحوي بين أجزاء المكون اللغوي ، والحبك يعني التماسك الدلالي أو الربط الموضوعي بين أجزاء البنية اللغوية " .
هذا الكتاب ، دراسة لغوية نصية تعتني بالنص القرآني ، تشكل إضافة مهمة للمكتبة العربية والإسلامية .
