يهدف المصمم في تصاميمه المعمارية موضوع الكتاب إلى إبراز طرق معالجة الموضوع التوفيري والاقتصادي للمسكن الفردي في أماكن الاستجمام والراحة والاصطياف كما في السكن المديني، كما ذلك بتصميم سهل ولغة معمارية سهلة، الأمر الذي يفسح بالمجال للمهتم أكان معمارياً أو طالباً أو إنساناً غير متخصص قرر بناء بيت، أن يتخيل التصميم واستيعاب دلالاته.
ولا شك أن مجموعة التصاميم هذه تساهم بطريقة أو بأخرى بالمعالجة عن طريق الحلول لمواد الإكساء والتشطيب وأساليب التغطية.
وقد حرص المصمم في كل تصميم على تحليل مواد البناء المستعملة في المبنى وطريقة التعامل مع الألوان وطرق التغطية ومواضع نوازل المطر.
