المعرفة التي سوف تطلع عليها في هذا الكتاب تمثّل جوهر كل العلوم التي سادت في العالم القديم، مثل علم الفلك والطب والكيمياء والهندسة والفن والقانون والفلسفة وغيرها من علوم ومعارف كانت سائدة في ذلك الزمن المجيد.
نحن نتكلم عن منظومة جوهرية توصف بشكل دقيق أساس بنية الكون وطريقة تكوينه، وهذا يجعلها أساس وجوهر كلّ المعارف الإنسانية، الماضية والحاضرة والمستقبلية.
هذه المعرفة لا تلتزم بأي مدرسة فلسفية أو دينية محددة، ليس لها هوية من أي نوع، لكن رغم ذلك فهي تمثّل الأساس الذي انطلقت منه كافة المدارس الفلسفية القديمة.
هناك أمر مهم وجوهري يتعلق بهذه المدارس الفلسفية التي جاءتنا من حضارات العالم القديم، جميعها تعتمد على منطق واحد، منهج معرفي واحد، والفرق بين هذه الفلسفات المختلفة هو في التوجّه والغاية التي كرّس من أجله هذا المنطق المشترك.
فمثلاً، الفرق بين الهرمزية والأفلاطونية والعرفانية يمكن في الأهداف التي كرست نفسها لأجلها، بينما المنطق الذي استندت عليه هو ذاته، نظرتهم للكون هي ذاتها، معتقداتهم بخصوص المبادئ التي يستند عليها الوجود عموماً هي متطابقة، لكن الفرق هو في طريقة إستخدام تلك المبادئ.
كان القدماء يتجادلون حول مذاهبهم الفلسفية والعلمية والدينية لكن لا أحد يجادل حول المبادئ الأساسية التي انطلقت منها لأنها تمثّل مسلّمات ثابتة غير قابلة للنقاش.
لهذا السبب تم تجريد هذا الجسم المعرفي الجليل من أي هوية أو اسم واكتفوا بالإشارة إليه بإسم العقيدة السرية أو الحكمة المقدّسة أو التعاليم السرية، شُرحت في هذا الكتاب بطريقة مجرّدة وخالية من أي لون ديني أو مذهبي محدد.
تذكر أننا لسنا بصدد تسويق عقيدة معيّنة، بل إعادة إظهار المبادئ الأساسية التي بنيت عليها كافة العقائد المختلفة حول العالم، وهذا ما سوف تلمسه بنفسك.
