الكتاب يتألف من بابين يحتويان على عدد من الفصول، الأول تناول فيه الأستاذ محمد منصور بذكاء نقدي يحسد عليه، من وراء عنوان متواضع (صور وملامح من المسرح الرحباني) أعمال الرحابنة في المسرح الغنائي والثاني حمل عنوان (ذاكرة المكان في الأغنية الرحبانية) الذي نبه فيه إلى أهمية دور الضيعة ودمشق والقدس وبيروت في الأغنية الرحبانية أيضاً.
