غسان شربل كان صحافي الحقيقة حين اختار لجورج حاوي الأسئلة التي تواجهه مع عميق نفسه وإيماناته وواقع حساباته، وفي ظرف كان مستريحاً من مسؤوليات القيادة... فإذا به يتجاوب مع الصحافي في اعتماد صدق ينضح به إنشاؤه.
هذا الكتاب شهادة شهيد، كان هو حياً شهيد حرب خاضها وحسبه أنه لم يصطنعها.
