والقصد من وراء توثيق كافة القرارات والإجتهادات الصادرة عن مجلس العدلي ألقاً الضوء على المفاصل والمرتكزات الأساسية لتلك القرارات من الناحية القانونية، وتفيد الأسس التي اعتمدتها تلك القرارات بوضع كلمات "مفاتيح" Mots clés - تضيء الجانب القانوني لتلك القرارات بما يمكّن الباحث القانوني من قضاة ومحامين وسائر رجال القانون من إستشفاف منحى الإجتهاد في المجال الجزائي الذي اختطّه المجلس العدلي بصفته المشار إليها أعلاه، لما في ذلك من إغناء للمكتبة الحقوقية اللبنانية من جهة كما وللمكتبات الحقوقية العربية على حدٍّ سواء.
