قسَم الكتاب إلى ثلاثة أجزاء: الجزء الأول: في ثواب الموحدين والعارفين، الجزء الثاني: في معنى الواحد والتوحيد والموحد، والجزء الثالث: في نفي المكان والزمان والسكون والحركة والنزول والصعود والانتقال عن الله عز وجل. وفي كلا الأجزاء الثلاثة أحاديث شتى وشروح وتفاسير تهدف إلى تفسير معنى التوحيد كما جاء في كتاب الله (القرآن الكريم) وتفسير المؤلف "القمي" لذلك المعنى.
