ينفتح النص الشعري في (الظل والحرور) للشاعر العراقي إبراهيم عبد الرزاق اليوسف على مستويات متعددة من الحيرة والشك والمفارقة الرمزية والشيء المدوّن في الواقعة ضمن طقسنة المناخ الميثولوجي، ما يدفع بالكتابة الشعرية إلى أسطرة تاريخيتها ومقولاتها، يتمظهر هذا التوصيف أكثر في القصيدة التي يفتتح بها الشاعر مجموعته وهي: "وشاح سلامة خريبو" ، وخريبو هو الإسم السومري للغاو حسب المصادر التاريخية. يقول الشاعر:
"القمر خوخة باب السماء / الموشى بالنجوم / يملأ قبضتها حين تقوم / ماشية محاذاة الرصيف / تشعر بالأمان / محاذاة الحائط أكثر أماناً / تلمس أسيجة الهواء / الهواء الجنوبي / الهواء المشرقي / الهواء الذي ما زال / محملاً يوشح القيعان / مريخان ... مريخان / بوابة البحر / ومرتع المراكب / والنوارس والمرجان".
هكذا تتأطر الصور لتتفتح على تاريخية الماضي، داخل نسيج سيميائي أجاد الشاعر تركيبه عبر رؤيات متعددة الإشارة والتخليق والإيحاء.
تضم المجموعة (98) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- وشاح سلامة خريبو، 2- حزورة الضباب، 3- شرفتها على الساحل، 4- عبق الشرائع، 5- درب المليارات، 6- سباق، 7- أحلام الغبش، 8- طريق الأجراس، 9- مراكب، 10- جسر المساكين، 11- أوتاد السفينة (...) وقصائد أخرى.
