«بْتِسْأل إذا بْحِبَّك» ترنيمة حبٍّ أبدية يعزفها الشاعر اللبناني "منذر الحجّار" على أوتار قلبه، لتنسل في هذا الديوان بأكثر من نغمة (قصيدة) بلغت أوجَها فسلطَنَت على صاحبها وقارئها، ليجتمعا معاً على حب الوطن وأهله، وليعيشا تجربة قرائية؛ هي أشبه بحديث القلب إلى القلب، ولقاء الأخ بالأخ، والصديق بالصديق، والعاشق بالمعشوق.
- "منذر الحجّار" لقد نجحت بتحريك ضعفنا القوي تجاه الحياة، وأغرقتَ نفوسنا بالمحبّة ما يجعلنا نقول (المجد للشعر) وحده الذي يحرك مشاعرنا، وترق به أرواحنا، ويعيد إلينا ذكرياتنا، ويؤنسن هموم حاضرنا، فتصير الحياة به أجمل...
- تحت عنوان "لبنان الحِلِم" يقول الشاعر:
"بيبقى بـِ بالي الحِلِم/ حِلم لْ أنا عم بِحْلَمو/ واحة أمان وْسِلْم/ من سنين صرلي برسمو/ وْبيارقك بالجو تعلا بالسما/ وْأرزي شلوشا بالأرض/ وِشلوحها نْطال النجم/ تبقى ربوعك موطن الإنسان/ بالحق سَيف/ وْللعدل ميزان/ الله خلقها عَ الأرض جَنّي/ تْفَنَّن وْأبدع رَسمها الفنّان (...)".
- قدم للديوان بقراءة نقدية الأستاذ أنطوان يزبك ومما جاء فيها: "... يصحّ القول في منذر الحجّار أنه نذر حياته للشعر وعاش بحسب شروطه وأصوله ومداراته مفضلاً إيّاه على مغريات كثيرة، فكان شاعراً وقدوة للكون الشعري بكل نبضه وعصبيته الإيجابية. استمالة الأوزان مع كل فكرة متطورة من كتاب إلى كتاب فمن "لو" إلى "عرفت شو قالو" إلى "ضحكت وقالت إنت" ومن ثم إلى مطولة شعرية تراثية عن ضيعته "شحيم" وبعدها "كتبت حالي عل وَرَأْ" وصولاً إلى الكتاب الذي أراده منذر تتويجاً لمرقاة الشعر والحب في أبلغ مقاصدهما وأعني به الكتاب بين أيدينا «بْتِسْأل إذا بْحِبَّك»...".
- في هذا الديوان يكتب منذر الحجّار (شعر لبناني) مرتجل بالعاميّة ويتسم بالتلقائية والتدفق الحر والسلاسة في التعبير، جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "بتسأل إذا بحبك"، "الحلم أحلى"، "القمر عشقان"، "مرثاة الشاعر سعيد عقل"، "لبنان الحلم"، "رحت الحلوي"، "مات الحنين"، "خايفي" "محمد الدُرّة"، "جايي لعندك"، "الحقيقة عاريي"، "خطين حُمْر"، (...) وقصائد أخرى.
