يأتي كتاب "جرائم الاحتلال ضد المدينة المقدسة" ليوثق لجرائم الاحتلال الصهيوني ضد المقدسات الإسلامية والمسيحية في القدس، حيث يتناول فيه الباحث-نواف الزرو، الخبير في الشؤون الإسرائيلية-المنطلقات الفكرية والايديوجية للصهيونية التي تشكل جذر عملية التدمير المنظم للأماكن المقدسة موضحاً المنهج الذي تتبعه الصهيونية لتحقيق ذلك. ومن ثم يقوم برصد الانتهاكات والاعتداءات والجرائم المبرمجة التي يقوم بها الكيان الصهيوني موثقاً ذلك بالحقائق والأرقام ومشيراً إلى المذابح الصهيونية التي تشكل نهجاً في السياسية الصهيونية بداية بمذبحة الحرم الإبراهيمي وصولاً إلى مجزرة الأقصى 2000، وكذلك شمولها جميع أراضي فلسطين سواء المحتلة سنة 1948 أو المحتلة سنة 1967. كما ويفرد الباحث فصلاً خاصاً لتتبع سياسة الحفريات تحت الحرم القدسي الشريف التي تهدف في النهاية إلى هدم المسجد الأقصى وبناء هيكل سليمان مكانه.
