إذا كان القرآن الكريم خطاب السماء للأرض، فالحديث النبوي الشريف خطاب الأرض بعد السماء، وهو المصدر الثاني للتشريع الإسلامي بعد كتاب الله تعالى، وعلى المسلم واجب الإمتثال لما ورد فيهما.
وكلامه صلى الله عليه وسلم - وإن كان نازلاً عن فصاحة القرآن الكريم وبلاغته - في الطبقة العليا، لا يدانيه كلام، ولا يقاربه وإن انتظم أي إنتظام، فما جاءنا عن أحد من روائع الكلام ما جاءنا عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ولا ريب في ذلك، فقد أوحى إليه رب العزة ما أوحى ﴿وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنْ الْهَوَى(3)إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى(4)﴾... [سورة النجم: آية 3، 4]، وآتاه جوامع الكلم، كما قال في حديثه صلى الله عليه وسلم: "بعثت بجوامع الكلم فكان كلامه الغاية في البيان، والنهاية في البرهان، والقدوة لجميع الأنام كما وصفه أبو حيان (ت 414هـ).
وقد كان لإختيار هذا الموضوع أسبابه، أولها: إن الموضوع جديد، لم تتناوله الأقلام - فيما أعلم - بالبحث البلاغي المتعمق، ولا سيما أقلام الباحثين الأكاديميين.
وثانيهما: إن الحديث الشريف ينطوي على ألوان من المعاني والأغراض حملتها أساليب طلب انتظمته كان لها فعل السحر في إثارة فكر المسلمين ووجدانهم، وتحقيق الإقناع والإمتاع لديهم وتحصيل الإستجابة المطلوبة، ونحن أحوج ما نكون اليوم إلى مثل هذه الأساليب في التعبير عن خلجة نفس وهاجس ضمير إزاء متغيرات العصر ومستجداته، وفي التوصيل والتأثير، في خلق الإلتزام بالفضائل وثوابت الحياة.
من هذا المنطلق، وفي ضوء المنهج التطبيقي لدراسة الظواهر البلاغية، رأيت إن اتجه إلى دراسة أسلوب من أبرز أساليب التعبير العربي، وهو الأسلوب الطلبي، في كتاب يعد أنفس كتب الحديث وأجلها وأصحها وأعلاه مرتبة، ذلك هو صحيح أبي عبد الله محمد ابن إسماعيل البخاري (191- 256هـ)، الذي يعد - كما أجمعت الأمة - أصح كتاب بعد كتاب الله تعالى.
تناول الكتاب موضوع أساليب الطلب في الحديث الشريف على وفق خطة تقوم على مدخل وستة فصول وخاتمة.
