يتبين لنا من خلال سيرة وأحاديث أصحاب المعصومين عليهم السلام وأنصارهم أيضاً طموحهم لنيل الشهادة. وفي هذا الكتاب كم من الأحاديث والنصوص المروية عن المعصومين الأطهار عليهم السلام وأنصارهم مما يوضح لهفتهم وطموحهم للفوز بالشهادة وفضيلتها ولحيازة شأن الشهيد، وفيه أيضاً بحث تحدث عن فضيلة الشهيد ومكانته في القرآن، وهذا بالإضافة لـ 27 حكاية تاريخية تبين طموح أنصار المعصومين للفوز بالشهادة.
