عبد المالك مرتاض (ولد 10 أكتوبر 1935) أستاذ جامعي وأديب جزائري حاصل على الدكتوراة في الأدب. ولد في مسيردة بولاية تلمسان. رئيس المجلس الأعلى للغة العربية (2001م). ويشغل حاليا 2011 كأستاذ لمقياس الأدب الجزائري، من أهم صفاته بين طلبته تواضعه وسمته يعد مرجعا في الدراسات الأدبية والنقدية. كان عضوا في لجنة التحكيم لمسابقة شاعر المليون التي أقيمت في أبو ظبي.

التحليل السيمائي للخطاب الشعري.. معالجة مستوياتية لقصيدة «شناشيل ابنة الجلبي» أ. د. عبدالملك مرتاض ط١/ ٢٠١٦م. قراءة لنص شناشيل ابنة الجلبي لبدر شاكر السياب في ثلاثة مستويات: أولها يرتكز على إلْتِماس وجوه التشاكل والتباين في لغة الشعر العربي المعاصر من خلال أحد أكبر ممثليه وهو السياب. والثاني يقوم على تقويم اللغة الشعرية لهذا النص في الشبكة الحيزية لمحاولة منح الحيز الشعري شكلاً سيمائياً يثب به من دلالته الجامدة إلى مجالات حية متفاعلة متجاوبة ومتخاصمة مع ما يجاورها، والمستوى الأخير تحليل النص من رؤية فنية وتقنية قد تكون حدثت لأول مرة في العربية بتأويل الألوان والمرئيات والملموسات والمشمومات والمذوقات إضافة إلى القرائن المركبة.
