والواقع أن هذا الكتاب يضعنا أمام عناصر قوَّة العالم الإسلامي مثلما يبيَّن لنا نقاط ضعفه سواء في الماضي أو في الحاضر، تلك النقاط الأخيرة التي يجب على كلِّ الذين نذروا أنفسهم للنَّهوض بأقطارهم خاصَّة وبعالمهم الإسلامي عامة أن يعملوا على تلاقيها وتداركها لتحقيق عمليَّة الإقلاع، وللتَّخلُّص من لزوجة التَّخلُّف الَّتي تشدنا إلى ما يسمَّى بالعالم الثالث، أو عالم الجنوب، وسواهما من التَّسمية التي تشير إلى الأمم المستضعفة.
