تعود رواية الكاتب أحمد رشيد "من أنا؟" إلى الظهور من جديد ويعود معها سؤال بطلها "عدنان" لنفسه من أنا؟ برؤىً جديدة ترفرف على مدى النص السّردي الذي لا يبوح بسّره ولا يبيح التصنيف، لأن هناك ما هو أكبر من السؤال؛ فتهجم الذكريات رجراجة زائغة ولتفتح في طريقها أوراقٌ خبأتها الجدران وغيرها من كلماتٍ غريبةٍ ومذكراتْ؛ رافقت المرويَّ له منذ الطفولة؛ فتتماوج الأشياء والذكريات؛ متسربلة من غبار الزمان والمكان تحاول التحرر من زمنيتها. فلا شيء يحرر الأحوال من زمنيتها إلا البوح. ولأن البوح فنّ السفر إلى الماضي؛ وقيادة قاطنيه وسوقهم إلى مسرح الحياة من جديد، يهدم الراوي الحدود بين الذاكرة والخيال ويستدرج السرد للتوصل إلى إجابة شافية عن السؤال: "من أنا؟".
يقول السارد في مفتتح "من أنا؟": إنها القصة نفسها.. الحكاية ذاتها... نفس الأحداث... وذات الشخوص... لا اختلاف في الأمكنة أو الأزمنة...
ولكن السؤال الذي يُقحم نفسه في عقل المطلع... ما هو نوع هذه القصة؟ هل هي قصّة حُبّ وشوق كما يراها الأول؟ أم أنّها واقعة خيانة صداقة وتأنيب ضمير كما يخالها الثاني؟ أم ربّما هي أُحدوثة خداع ومكر كما أحسبها أنا؟
ما هي تلك النفس التي وضعت فيّ؟ ما هو هذا الكيان المظلم الذي يتواجد ضمن جنبات جسدي؟ ما هو ذلك السّواد الذي عشعش على جدران قلبي؟ من أين لي بكل ذلك الخُبث الذي يسيطر على طريقة تفكيري؟ ما هو كل ذلك الشر الذي زُرع في روحي وفؤادي وهَواي؟... من أنا؟!".
بعد أن عثر "عادل" على الأوراق التي اقتُطفت منها الفقرات السابقة، وُضع أمام قرار صعب... هل يقرأ ما وجد، أم يعيدها إلى جوف اللوحة الأثرية التي وجدها صُدفةً مُخبأة فيها متجاهلاً عنوانها المثير للفضول؟
ولكن الفضول غلب...
فقرأ عادل ما وجد...
