أغلب بطلات القصص يهربن من البيوت المحصنة بأسوار التقاليد البالية, ومن أحضان وقلوب الرجال القساة الخوانين, ومن الفضاءات الخانقة الموبوءة بسلطة الرجل, ولكن فرارهن من (بيت الدمية) كما تفصح أغلب القصص, لا يبدو أنه باتجاه (الحرية/الحياة) كما فعلت (نورا) بطلة (هنريك أبسن) إثر صفقة الباب الشهيرة, إنما إلى القبر, إلى العزلة, إلى الصمت. أي إلى غياب لا يعادل بمجازيته قوة الحضور الواقعي. حيث الوأد الذاتي, أو الموت المعنوي, كما يعبر عنه بقدرية التيه والخيبات, وحيث لا تعرف البطلة المصممة بوعي القاصة إلى أين تتجه, لأنها لا تمتلك أي تصور خارج اعتياداتها التصادمية مع الرجل,وعليه تعيد إنتاج الهوية المضطربة المستهلكة عبر أسطورة الذات الأنثوية عن نفسها, والمملاة من ثقافة وسلطة (الآخر/الرجل) كمطى أزلي, وهو مآل حياتي بائس يعزز فكرة الوهن التكويني في النص الأنثوي من الوجهة الفنية, كمعادل لفكرة تهافت الهوية الأنثوية المستقلة, حيث يبقي على المرأة في الحياة والنص بين استهامات وعود الرجل اللفظية المحتومة المحلوم بها, ووعيده المتحقق على الأرض قمعاً, أي في حالة من النضال العبثي الذي لا تراعي القاصة بموجبه منسوب التمايز في بنية العنل القصصي بين مستوى القصة كتاريخ ومستواها كقول له حمولاته الموضوعية ودلالاته الجمالية, بقدر ما تتفنن في إثقال المنجز بالمزبد من الأدلة على التهميش والظلم والعذابات التي تمتص طاقة النص التعبيرية والتخييلية, وتوسع قاموس قصص الاضطهاد.
