هذا منتخب من أخبار أشهر شعراء الفارسية بعد ظهور الإسلام, شاعر فحل, لا يعد خبيراً بآداب الفرس من أخره في إمارة شعرهم عن الثاني أو الثالث بين مقدميهم, إنه جلال الدين الرومي, صاحب المثنوي, ديوان الشعر الذي تقدسه أعاجم الصوفية طراً, ثم العرب منهم- بعدُ- والفرنجة, منذ أملاه الجلال الرومي, على عشيقه حسام دين المولوية. والى أيامنا! وقد أحيط هذا الديوان وصاحبه بهالة تعظيم دينية كبيرة, حتى وصف المثنوي بصفات القرآن الكريم- من الرومي ومن دونه- وأنه وحي من وحي الله تعالى- حاشى لله- ونعت مؤلفه بما يوصف به الأنبياء, وإذا كان هذا ما يدين به أكثر المتصوفة قديماً وحديثاً في هذا الشاعر الفارسي, وديوان شعره المثنوي, فالواجب على كل مسلم أحب دين ربه عز وجل, وكتابه المبين, ونبيه خاتم المرسلين محمد عليه السلام, أن يبذل النصح لمن أخطأ سلوك طريق الفلاح, ومن ذلك بيان أن سبيل هذا الرومي, غير سبيل من أحبهم الله من الصحابة ومن تبعهم بإحسان, ويأتي هذا المنتخب من ذلك البيان, حيث يطلع المسلمين ممن يعظم الرومي على هذا الكتاب, ويدعه يقارن إسلام الخلفاء الراشدين, والصحابة المهديين, والتابعين لهم, بإسلام هذا الرومي, يظهر له الفرق إن اهتدى.
