نأمل من القارئ، الذي شدَّه العنوان، ألا يصدر حكماً قاسياً على مؤلف الكتاب وناشره قبل دراسته والتمعُّن فيما ورد فيه، بعقله لا بعاطفته، وأن يتنبَّه إلى الأدلة الشرعية والعقلية والنقلية، التي أوردها المؤلف، دفاعاً عن وجهة نظره، المتضمِّنة دعوة المسلمين إلى الإقتصار على حجة واحدة إقتداء برسولهم صلى الله عليه وسلم، وألا يحوِّلوا الحج إلى سياسة، كما يفعل بعضهم.
فالأمة بحاجة إلى تبصُّر وبصيرة، وإعمال للعقل، لا إلى تحويل عباداتها إلى طقوس وتقاليد، لا تؤدي الأغراض التي فرضت من أجلها، وليعلموا أنَّ مدلول قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "من حجَّ ولم يرفث او يفسق رجع كيوم ولدته أمه)، لا يعني أن نصفِّي حساب خطايانا كل عام مع ربِّ العالمين بالحجِّ إلى بيته العتيق.
