"رسائل سين" لوحات رومانسية لغتها الشعر وأداتها الكتابة اتخذت لها سناء حسين المرزوقي سمات تعبيرية ووظيفية خاصة تبرز الضعف الأنثوي تارة وقوته تارة أخرى، وقد ساهمت في تشكيلها الشاعرة من خلال سردها لتفاصيل لحظات آنية أو مترسبة في الذاكرة، تبثها عبر رسائل شعرية تتوجه بها إلى حبيبٍ حاضرٍ/غائبٍ، ولكن يظلّ الحبّ بسعةِ الحياة، ويظلّ هناك أفقٌ لفرحٍ متواري بين الحنايا ولتستمر عبره الذكريات الجميلة، كنوع من الإياب نحو عالم آخر هو عالم المرأة/ الشاعرة.
في قصيدة بعنوان (المنديل) تقول الشاعرة المرزوقي: "أهديتني ذلك المنديل/ على عجل/ بعيداً عن عيونهم/ تركت عليه قبلتك/ وأثراً من رائحتك/ أخذته على عجل/ تظاهرت بشمّه/ وخبأته في ذلك الكتاب/ على عجل/ تظاهرت بشمّه/ وخبأته في ذلك الكتاب/ على عجل/ ومضيت../ أمسكت ذلك المنديل/ في غرفتي/ لمسته/ علقت رائحته في يدي/ شممته/ تنشقته/ تنفسته/ أغمضت عيني/ تذكرت جميع التفاصيل...".
إن المسحة الرومانسية الواضحة في نصوص الشاعرة سناء حسين المرزوقي، وبناء القصيدة وتداعيات صورها وكذا الإيقاع الذي يكاد يتخذ من وزنه رنة موسيقية خاصة أن هذا التوظيف يجعل بعض النصوص أقرب الشذرة أو السوناتا بما تحيل عليه معانيها من محمولات ودلالات؛ فهي بقدر ما تضم بين حناياها مشاعر رومانسية تضم كذلك نوعاً من الحزن، وأحياناً تجمع بين الشعورين معاً في نفس الوقت، وهذا هو امتياز الشاعرة.
يضم الكتاب ما يقارب الخمسون نصاً نثرياً جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "هكذا قيل في القلب"، "رسالة إلى مجهول"، "بدون عنوان"، "ربما سوف ترحلون للأبد"، "عجز اللسان"، "سعادة = جهل"، "انتهى"، "مسرحية"، "خطوات"، "تلاقينا على ذلك السهل"، (...) ونصوص وقصائد أخرى.
