التّصدِّي للفتوى اللُّغويَّة والإشتغالُ بالتَّصحيح اللغويّ صَنْعَةٌ دقيقةٌ، تحتاجُ إلى علمٍ صحيحٍ ومنهجٍ مُحْكَمٍ ودراية وحكمة.
وليس من العلم أن تُلقَى الأحكام في هذا الباب على عواهنها دون دليلٍ صحيحٍ أو بينة مُقنعة.
ذلك أنَّ معجمات العربية لم تستوعبْ كلّ ما تكلَم به العربُ القدماءُ واستعملوه من ألفاظ العربيّة وتراكيبها، وأنَّ للغة العربيّة إمكاناتٍ خَلْق وإبداعٍ لا تُحَدُّ، ولا تحصرها المعجمات، ومِنْ ثَمَّ لم يكنْ من العلم أن يُنْبَزَ كلُّ ما لم يكنْ في المعجم ويُزْرى به ويُعاب، ويُعَادى.
عالج هذا الكُتَيبُ جملةً من الأساليب والألفاظ التي خَطأها معاصرون، ولها في العربية أصولٌ فصاح، ويجدُ النَّاظر في هذه المعالجة أدب الإفتاء اللغويّ الذي يُلقْي في صدره بَرْدَ اليقين.
