تدور الدراسة في هذا الكتاب حول العرب في الأرجنتين. وقد قسم الباحث هذه الدراسة إلى سبعة فصول: في الفصل الأول بين المؤلف الإطار التاريخي للهجرة التي عرفتها سوريا ولبنان، حاول تحديد أسباب هذه الهجرة وهل كانت اقتصادية بالأساس، أم أن عوامل أخرى ساهمت في ذلك.
وفي الفصل الثاني توقف المؤلف عند قوانين الهجرة الأرجنتينية التي استهدفت العرب وسبب صدورها وكيف أثرت سلباً على دخولهم البلاد. في الفصل الثالث تناول المؤلف فيه الحضور الاقتصادي العربي في الأرجنتين. وتناول في الفصل الرابع حضور العرب في دينامية المجتمع الأرجنتيني.
وخصص الفصل الخامس للحديث عن المؤسسات والصحافة العربية في الأرجنتين. وقام في الفصل السادس بدراسة مواقف عرب الأرجنتين من القضايا القومية العربية. وفي الفصل الأخير والذي يطول مساهمة العرب في الحياة السياسية الأرجنتينية.
