إن النهوض الحسيني في السنة الحادية والستين للهجرة النبوية، والذي كان يعتمد مقاومة الإنحراف السياسي اعتماداً على الرؤية الإسلامية كما ورد عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "من أرضى سلطاناً جائراً بسخط الله خرج من دين الله".
إستطاع أن يحدث أثراً كبيراً في حياة الأمة وأن يعيدها الى حالة الرشد المقاوم لكل ألوان الإنحراف العقدي والسياسي؛ والثورات التي تحركت بعد شهادة الإمام الحسين رضي الله عنه، كثورة التوابين وأهل المدينة والمختار وغيرها، كانت تعبيراً عن قدرة النهوض الحسيني على إحداث الهزّة التي أيقظت الضمير الإسلامي، ليتحرك بكل حيوية ومسؤولية نحو الإسلام المحمدي الأصيل.
فإذا كانت نهضة الحسين رضي الله عنه قد استطاعت أن تحدث كل ذلك الأثر والفعل السياسي والجهادي المقاوم، فماذا نقرأ اليوم في النهوض الحسيني؟ وهل يمتلك هذا النهوض أن يحدث أثراً في حياتنا الإسلامية والإنسانية؟...
