منذ منتصف عام 2012، وبعد أن بدأت ثورة السوريين بالتحول إلى خيار حمل السلاح، نشأة تجربة "المدن المحررة"، وهي المدن والبلدات التي تمكنت قوات المعارضة من السيطرة عليها بعد خروج قوات الأسد.
وكان امام قوى المعارضة مهمات ثقيلة، تمثلت بإمكانية ملء الفراغ المؤسساتي الذي أحدثه إنسحاب موظفي وعاملي الدولة من هذه المدن والبلدات، كذلك مثلت هذه التجربة رهاناً كاشفاً على مدى قدرة قوى المعارضة على إدارة مدنها والإشراف على سير الحياة فيها، كان رهاناً حول قدرة قوى المعارضة على إنتاج سلطاتها البديلة، وبلورة قدراتها على أن تكون حاضرة حال غياب نظام الأسد.
ومنذ ذلك التاريخ، وحتى اليوم نهاية عام 2014، ما تزال هذه التجارب قيد الإمتحان، تنجح في حالات، وتتعثر في كثير من الحالات؛ وتقف العديد من العوامل خلف نجاح هذه التجارب وفشلها.
في كتابنا هذا، سنلقي الضوء على بعض تجارب المدن المحررة، وسنناقش هذه التجارب ونسعى إلى إلقاء الضوء على بعض تلك العوامل التي ساهمت في إفشال أو إنجاح تلك التجارب، آملين أن يكون هذا الكتاب مدخلاً عاماً لما سيليه من كتب سنناقش من خلالها مدناً بعينها، كتجربة مدينة حلب وريفها، وتجربة مدينة دمشق وريفها... إلى آخر مدن الثورة السورية.
