هذه شعبة من شعب الإيمان جمعت في مبحث الرجاء. قال تعالى: (إن الذين أمنوا والذين هاجروا وجاهدوا في سبيل الله أولئك يرجون رحمت الله), فالرجاء هو توقع نزول ما هو محبوب بعد الاستعداد واتخاذ معظم الأسباب. وبناءً على ذلك فقد تناول المؤلف في كتابه المواضيع التالية: يستوي عند المؤمن الرجاء والخوف, المؤمن يغلب الخوف في حال صحته والرجاء إذا نزل به الموت, حسن الظن بالله عز وجل, ما يجب أن يكون عليه المؤمن, ما ينبغي للواعظ, مناجاة راجٍ, الرجاء من الله تعالى, الدعاء المطلوب للراجي, ما الدعاء, أركان الدعاء, آداب الدعاء.
