هي قصيدة "نثر بطول كيلو متر واحد" يحاول من خلالها "أحمد العجمي" تقديم فكرة حتمية الموت في مصير الإنسان المشدود إليه عبر إختيار إنموذج تعبيري ما بين الواقع والماوراء، ولهذا فالقصيدة تضج بالتأملات والرؤى، والإضاءات الصورية والدلالية والأسلوبية التي تؤهل السارد لوصف ملحمة الموت وشهوة الحياة والصراع بين الإثنين إلى ما لانهاية.
لنقرأ النص الآتي: "... تجعلني الحياة... أفكر في الموت... ويجعلني الموت أفكر في الحياة... آه... يا لها من أرجوحة لا تتوقف... كلمات غزيرة تتساقط، لتملأ الكؤوس بالخوف، بالدمار، بالطائفية المُخرجَة من مستوطناتها، منهكة جداً هذه المدن، قد لوّن الدم منشآتها ولحمها، ما زال العصر مُستسلماً لحبات الرمل التي أفرغت السماء من عضلاتها، لن يتركوا وردة تتفتح، إذ أن لهم جرافات على كلّ نقاط خطوط الطول والعرض...".
هنا الشعر والنثر تآلفا عند شاعرنا وأصبحا نصاً أدبياً، انتفت فيه الفواصل بين الواقع (الخوف، الدمار، الطائفية، المدن) وغيرها، وبين المثال الذي يرومه الشاعر للعيش الآمن في هذه الحياة، وهو بلا شك إشتغال حداثي اتبعه الشاعر العجمي؛ حقق قيمة الملامسة الحميمية الناتجة عن تجاوز الشعري والنثري في قصيدة واحدة، وهو إشتغال ينتمي إلى مبدعه بلا شك.
