يتحدث الدكتور عبد العزيز بن عبد الرحمن الثنيان في هذه القصة التي تتناول بطولة الملك عبد العزيز من خلال الاقتحام والاسترداد وهو فصل من فصول حياته المليئة بالبطولة والإقدام في مرحلة كان سكان الرياض يطلبون العدل، وينشدون الأمان، فقد كانت الرياض مضطربة مهمومة تشكو من جراحها، وكان حديث الناس عن بطل يمكن أن يعيد للرياض أمنها واستقرارها ذلك هو البطل عبد العزيز الذي جرت أحداث هذه القصة حوله، فقد قدم إلى الرياض وكانت السيطرة له، حيث تم استسلام جميع رجال الحامية ونادى المنادي الله أكبر، الله أكبر، الملك لله ثم لعبد العزيز بن عبد الرحمن. هذا الشاب الذي كان عظيماً في قتاله، كريماً في أخلاقه، حيث رقصت العاصمة ابتهاجاً بخلاصها ممن أفسدوا فيها وأضاعوا أمنها الذي عاد مع انتصارات عبد العزيز بن عبد الرحمن. الذي كان يملك من السمات، ما جمع القلوب حوله، وكان الفارس القادم من الدهاء ما مكّنه من القيادة والزعامة، فضلاً عما عرف به من خشية الله والعدل الذي هو أساس الملك.
