يتناول هذا الكتاب العديد من الموضوعات، خطوة خطوة لبناء المشاريع مع الأمثلة؛ أولاً كيفية معرفة نوع وخواص التربة المقام عليها المنشأ، ثم تأتي المرحلة الثانية كيفية معرفة إجهادات التحميل المسموح كبها في حالة الأساسيات العادية، وفي المرحلة الثالثة كيفية تحليل وتصميم المنشآت الخرسانية بطريقتين أحداهما يدوياً والأخرى بالإستعانة بالحاسب الآلي (برنامج بروكون) مع أمثلة متنوعة، مع مثال بسيط عن التصميم حسب الكود السوري وشرح نظرية الزلازل حسب الكودين السوري والأردني.
كيفية قراءة وعمل المخططات المطلوبة للبدء بالمشروع مثال عن كيفية تقدير الكلفة وتحليل الأسعار للمشاريع، ثم كيفية القيام بأعمال التنفيذ حسب المواصفات الفنية المطلوبة وكيفية تجهيز المواد الخاصة بالتنفيذ.
وكذلك تحليل وتصميم المنشآت المعدنية بطريقتين أحداهما يدوياً والأخرى دراسة وتصميم أعمال الطرق وكيفية حساب كميات الطرق، وأخيراً عن كيفية إدارة المشاريع والإستعانة ببرنامج (بريمافيرا).
