هذه شعبة من شعب الإيمان نقل فيها ما ورد في الملابس والزينة, وما يحل منها وما يحرم من كتاب الله تعالى والسنة النبوية المطهرة, فقد قال تعالى: (قل من حرم زينة الله التي أخرج لعباده), وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام: (كلوا واشربوا والبسوا وتصدقوا في غير إسراف ولا مخيلة). إن هذا الحديث جامع لفضائل تدبير الإنسان نفسه, وفيه تدبير مصالح النفس والجسد في الدنيا والآخرة, فإن السرف في كل شيء يضر بالمعيشة, فيؤدي الى الإتلاف, ويضر بالنفس إذا كانت تابعة للجسد في أكثر الأحوال, والمخيلة تضر بالنفس, حيث تكسبها العجب, وتضر بالآخرة حيث تكسب الإثم, وتضر بالدنيا حيث تكسب المقت من الناس.
