تعتمد على الواقعية السحرية حيث تمزج بين السرد الواقعي الاجتماعي والفكري وبين الفنتازيا بالاعتماد على أسطورة تناسخ الأرواح.تناقش عدة قضايا فلسفية فكرية إنسانية واجتماعية. تدور أحدث الرواية حول 6 أصدقاء في سن المراهقة يكتشفون أن من بينهم صديقة لديها قدرة خارقة تمكنها من الخروج من جسدها وعندما يحدث خلاف بينهم يتفقون على دفن جسدها قبل عودتها إليه بهدف قتلها ولكن المفاجأة أن روحها تضيع في الفراغ الكوني لمدة 3 سنوات ثم تدخل إلى جسد طفل أسود فتعيش فيه بذاكرة مشوشة وتكبر لتصبح شاب عشريني يلتقي بأصدقائه الذين أصبحوا على أعتاب الأربعين وكل شخص فيهم أصبح له حياة وشأن وأشياء أخرى محفزة على الانتقام فيحدث الصراع ويتفقون على قتلها مجددا لتحدث مفاجأة أخرى أكثر تعقيدا!
