كتاب نفيس خرجه الإمام "محمد بن إسماعيل بن إبراهيم بن المغيرة بن بَردِزبه الجعفي البخاري"، روى فيه الأحاديث الصحيحة الثابتة عن رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وسماه " الصحيح المسند من حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وسننه وأيامه ".
لقد اعتنى الإمام "البخاري" بتبويب كتابه أحسن العناية، وأودعه من دقائق العلم ما بلغ فيه الغاية، افتتحه بحديث "إنما الأعمال بالنِّيات" إشارة إلى حُسن القصد وسلامة النية، إشارة إلى حُسن القصد وسلامة النية، وأطلق على أسماء الأبواب العامة اسم "كتاب".
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب اعتنى بتحقيقه السيد "يوسف الحاج أحمد" على الشكل التالي: 1-ضبط النصوص الحديثة بإعتماد النسخة السلطانية، المعتمدة على النسخة اليُونِينية وهي أتقن نسخ "الصحيح" وبالمقارنة أيضاً مع بعض نسخ الجامع الصحيح، ونخصُّ بالذّكر نسخة الحافظ ابن حجر في فتح الباري، 2-تخريج الأحاديث على الكتب التسعة وهي: مسلم، وأبو داود، والترمذي، والنسائي، والدارمي، وابن ماجه، وأحمد، ومالك، 3-ذِكْر أطراف الأحاديث، أي طرف كلِّ حديث مكرر فيه، 4-اعتمد ترقيم "محمد فؤاد عبد الباقي"، 5-تخريج الآيات الكريمات، ونسخها من المصحف الشريف بالخط العثماني، 6-صنع فهرس بأطراف الأحاديث مرتباً على أحرف المعجم.
