الوجود في مظاهره المتنوعة، لا يشكل وحدة في المظهر والنسقية: إذا شتان بين مرتفع ومنخفض، وبين بحر وبر، أو بين نور وظلمة. فهو يمثل وحدة في الروح والحياة، تلك التي تنتشر في كل موجود، وتتسرب في كل شكل من أشكال الجماد أو النبات أو الحيوان أو الإنسان، إنها الحياة التي نستقطرها من الضعف، كما نستمطرها من القوة، ونعتصرها من الخير كما نحتلبها من الشر، لتصير حركة نافعة، وقوة دافعة باتجاه النوال والكمال.
والوحدة الحياتية مدعاة، ولا شك، للوحدة الإنسانية، تلك التي تمثل محور الوجود، ونقطة الارتكاز الكوني، لما تزخر به شخصية الإنسان من قوة حياتية، ومن نشاط عام يتبدى في الريادة، والقيادة، والسيادة، وفي ما تمتاز به من تأدب وتعقل وشمولية معرفية.
والإنسان باعتباره محور الوجود، وقلب الحياة، فإنه غاية الغايات، وحياته تشكل العمق السحيق، والبعد الأخير فيها. ولذا فإليه، ينبغي توجيه كل الطاقات، وتفعيل مختلف العمليات، كما يجب محاولة انعاشه وإسعاده، ورفع شأنه ومستواه.
ومن منطلق أهمية الحياة فقد وجد "موسى عجمي" أنه لا بد له من الكشف عن الحركة الحياتية نفسها، والبحث عنها، وتفسير ما هي عليه من قوة ونشاط، ثم مراقبتها في مسارها النهائي، لنحصل، ويتوصل إلى أفضل حياة وأكمل إنسانية. ولا سيما حركة الحياة عند الإنسان، لنصفها في منطلقها وفي جوهرها ومنتهى أمرها الذي تفضي إليه وتحط فيه.
ووصفه لتلك الحركة لستدعي منه أولاً إزالة الغبار عن المبدأ والمصدر، ثم الكشف عن المنهج أو الطريق الواجب اتباعها للحصول على فائدة. وأخيراً اللجوء إلى معرفة معيار الفائدة أو مقياسها الذي يجب أن تلتزم به الحركة لبلوغ الحقيقة الحياتية السليمة...
