لا شك في أن عملية الترجمة لأي شاعر كان، تستوجب بالضرورة التعرف عن كثب الى سيكولوجيته... بيئته... ومن ثم ملامسة مناخه الشعري الخاص به، في حالة تقديم الرؤية الشعرية الكامنة لديه الى جانب التجربة.
في هذه المجموعة الشعرية (شجرة الدلب) من اللغة الكردية الى اللغة العربية حاولت، قدر المستطاع، الحفاظ على لذة المضمون الشعري في نصوصه المقدمة الى القارئ العربي، مع ملاحظة إسقاط بعض المناحي الفنية والجمالية على البنية المجردة في وحدة الشكل بدافع الإنحياز والحفاظ على إيقاع الموسيقى الداخلية للقصائد عبر انسيابية متواصلة ومتصلة في نفس الوقت. علماً أن قصائد الشاعر في لغتها الأم، هي قصائد نثرية بعيدة كل البعد عن قصيدة التفعيلة والعمود في آن. وإن لم تكن الترجمة بالأمر اليسير من اللغة الأم الى لغة أخرى، فبالمقابل لا بد من الحفاظ على جينية وروح هذا النص الشعري أو ذاك في حالة الترجمة.
