تقول إحدى ضحايا زواج المسيار "... نحن أبناء "المسيار" ومعاناتنا مختلفة، بعضنا بلا أب، ومنا من أمه مسجونة لإتهامها في عرضها، وفينا مجهول الأبوين... ومنا ومنا...".
وهكذا استطاع "مصطفى الأنصاري" أن يقدم للقارئ نصاً روائياً متماسكاً يتناول قضايا ذاتية، وينطلق منها ليشهد على قضايا عامة ما تزال يشغل المجتمعات العربية، في مفهومها للزواج ليطرح من خلاله مسألة على غاية الأهمية، وهي هل إكتمال الأركان الواجبة لعقد الزواج تجعله صحيحاً، ومقبولاً في المجتمعات الإسلامية؟.
