نزلت من القطار.. مشت في الثلج.. وصلت إلى البئر.. رأت دلواً معلقاً بها.. أنزلت الدلو إلى قاع البئر.. لكن البئر كانت عميقة جداً.. وأخيراً سمعت إرتطام الدلو بسطح الماء.. سحبت الدلو إلى أعلى.. ظلت تسحب الدلو طويلاً.. لكن ما أن صار قريباً منها حتى ألقته مباشرةً، إذ كان الدلو مليئاً بماءٍ أسود.. ومن أعماق البئر جاءت أصوات قهقهات ساخرة.. هربت من البئر ولاذت بالقطار ثانية!
ما أن صعدت إلى القطار حتى تأكدت بشكل قاطع إلى أنه لا أحمد في القطار سواها!! أغلقت الأبواب من تلقاء نفسها، وبدأ القطار بالحركة.. ازدادت سرعته بطريقة جنونية.. شعرت وكأن القطار بدأ يرتفع عن السكة الحديدية ويلتوي في الهواء مثل ثعبان حديدي عملاق.. واستمر لفترة لا تستطيع تقديرها.. وبعد فترة هبط سائراً على بحيرة متجمدة.. ظلّ القطار يدور حول محيط البحيرة المتجمدة.. ثم بدأ بحركة دائرية متداخلة في وسط البحيرة مشكلاً رقم ثمانية كما يكتب في اللغات الأوروبية.. حركة مغلقة لا منافذ فيها.. ثم فجأة.. صعد القطار ثانية إلى الفضاء.. وظلّ يلتف إلى أن نزل مرّة أخرى على السكة الحديدية!!
فجأة.. دخل القطار نفقاً في أعماق الجبل.. وبالرغم من أن القطار كان فارغاً إلا منها، فقد سمعت صرخ أطفال مرعوبين!! لم تعرف من أين يأتي هذا الصراخ.. فالظلمة كانت دامسة داخل النفق.. ولم تكن هناك إضاءة داخل القطار!! فجأة خرج القطار من النفق المظلم.. ومع خروجه انقطع صوت صراخ الأطفال المرعوبين، لكنها سمعت بكاء طفل وحيد يأتي من العربة المجاورة.
حين فتحت باب العربة المجاورة رأت مهداً كبير الحجم.. يرقد فيه طفل، لكنه ليس طفلاً وإنما مسخ كبير!! كان طفلاً - مسخاً رأسه كبيرة جداً - بينما جسده لا يتجاوز حجم الكف.. كانت الطفل ينظر إليها بعينين واسعتين جداً.. إنه أشبه بكائنات الفضاء التي كانت تراها في بعض الأفلام.. فجأة اختفى الطفل، وتحول إلى هيئة مصغرة لزوجها آدم اللبناني، لكنه كان بقرنين صغيرين على رأسه.. فزّت مرعوبة، بينما كان جرس باب الشقة يرن.
استعاذت بالرحمن من شر هذا الكابوس.. قامت متسللة خارج الغرفة.. وحينما فتحت الباب وجدت قابيل أمامها.. كان حليق الوجه، فواح الرائحة، إذ رش على وجهه الكثير من العطر، وقد لبس قميصاً نظيفاً..
