هذا الدوان نبض فؤاد هبت عليه نسائم السحر, فقال شيئاً يشبه الشعر, وليس شعراً. ولكنه خفقات قلب أحياه الحب. وأضناه الوجد. وأبعده الذنب.. وقربه الأمل.. فطار الى مبتغاه.. على جناحي الخوف والرجاء. وكان من أهم المواضيع التي تناولها هذا الديوان: دمعي لا يجف, أيقظ فؤادي, سلمت القلب لخالقه, أبواب فضلك لتزال تشرع, قلمي, مناجاة, خشية الجهلاء, ذلة العصيان, قدمي قد زلت, العدل والإحسان, أمشي في أرض الألمان, الشوق, غيبة الهوى, صديق يبكي صديقه, أهل الله, نفحات المرشد, رثاء والدي, وغيرها من المواضيع الهامة.
الطريق إلى الله تعالى طريق محفوف بالمجاهدات، والسالك إليه تعالى تعترضه حالات وخواطر، فإذا أدركته العناية ساقته أيدي القدرة بداعي الخوف والرجاء حتى تضعه على أبواب العزة، وتلبسه ثوب الذلة بين يدي الله تعالى.
محمد شريف الصواف: ولد في دمشق عام 1390هجرية, حصل على دبلوم في العلوم الزراعية من المعهد المتوسط الزراعي عام 1411هجرية. درس العلوم العربية والإسلامية في كلية أصول الدين والمعهد الشرعي للدعوة والإرشاد, له عدة مؤلفات صدر منها: الحياة الزوجية, تربية الأبناء والمراهقين, بر الوالدين, وغيرها الكثير.
