كتاب "حقيبة التاريخ" هو عن سلسلة حلقات تحمل الإسم عينه، عرضت على شاشة الميادين في صيف عامِ 2014، مع بسام أبو شريف، مستشار الرئيس الراحل ياسر عرفات وقد حاورته الإعلامية لينا زهرالدين، وهدفت إلى توثيق جوانب ومحطات في مسار الثورة الفلسطينية خلال نصف قرن من الزمان، انطلاقاً من بداية الكفاح المسلح والمنعطفاتِ الأساسية التي كان لها دورٌ كبير في توجُّه وتوجيه الثورة الفلسطينية، من أحداث عام 1970 في الأردن والحرب التي شنتها غولدا مائير على القيادات الفِلسطينية واتفاقية كامب ديفيد وغزو لبنان عامَ 1982، وخروجِ منظمة التحرير من بيروت وصولاً إلى الانتفاضة الأولى، ثمّ مؤتمر مدريد للسلام بالإضافة إلى عددٍ لا يحصى من الاتفاقات وجولات المفاوضات بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي برعايةٍ دوْلية، الى متابعة إسرائيل حملاتها لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية ومشروع الحل السياسي واتفاق أوسلو واغتيال ياسر عرفات.
تكشف هذه الحوارات خفايا الميدان وكواليس السياسة لإعادة قراءة جوانب هذه المرحلة الأساسية في المواجهة والمقاومة من المنظار التاريخي والتوثيقي لتشكّل مادة ً معرفية ً تغني القارىءَ وتـلهم الأجيال من المخزون والإرث النضالي والكفاحي لتكوين الوعي الوطني والقومي في الصراع مع الكيان الإسرائيلي وسياسات الهيمنة.
