أوردت، في هذا الكتاب، بعضًا من الملاحن والمفردات وفقًا لـ: - شيوع التراكيب والمفردات الملحونة وبخاصّة في وسائل الإعلام، وهي الأكثر تأثيرًا في المتلقّي وترسيخ الخطأ. - ورودها على ألسنة وأقلام عدد متزايد من الدارسين والأساتذة. - ورودها في كتب التدريس، وبخاصّة كتب تدريس الطلبة الفلسطينيّين في الداخل. - ورودها في مقالات بحثيّة منشورة، أو في الأوراق البحثيّة الأولى التي كتبها الطلبة في المقرّرات التي درّستها وأدرّسها. - ورودها في معاجم معاصرة، تُعَدّ مراجع للطلبة وعدد من الأكاديميّين، بلا إشارة إلى عامّيّتها. وما عالجته من موادّ وفق ما ذُكر سابقًا ينقسم ثلاثة أقسام: الأوّل: موادّ ملحونة بيّنتُ فيها موضع اللحن، وأوردت الصواب مدعومًا بالتوضيح والشاهد والتمثيل. الثاني: موادّ أدرجَتْها كتب التصويب والتقويم في اللحن، ولا أراها لحنًا، اعتمادًا على ما تبيحه أقيسة العربيّة، مخرِّجًا ومحتالًا للزلّة عذرًا، ولا أرى في استعمالها معرّة. والثالث: موادّ غير ملحونة، أقصاها الكتبة من معجمهم الكلاميّ والكتابيّ، مشيرًا إلى صحّتها.
