ثاني قائمة الموارد هذه نتيجة لجهد جماعي إقليمى أطلقه برنامج الشباب والحياة والصحة، بهدف المساهمة في بناء قاعدة بيانات للموارد المتوفرة حالياً في المنطقة العربية، حول المواضيع المتعلقة بالشباب والمراهقين، وليضعها بذلك في متناول المنظمات الأهلية والجهات الأخرى العاملة في ميادين التنمية البشرية والمجتمعية والمعنيين الآخرين.
هذا وتنقسم القائمة إلى ثلاثة أقسام: القسم الأول وهو بيبليوغرافيا بجمع الموارد التي أمكن للبرنامج وشركائه الحصول عليها أو الاستعلام عنها والتي بلغ مجموعها 84 مورداً. هذه الموارد مبوبة حسب تاريخ الورود وتعطي معلومات عن اسم المورد والكاتب أو المترجم، دار النشر وتاريخ الصدور، بالإضافة إلى ملخص موجز عن محتويات المورد، وقد تم ترقيم هذه الموارد حسب تاريخ ورودها، القسم الثاني فهو تصنيف الموارد الموثقة في القسم الأول.. وقد تم اعتماد هذا التصنيف في أثناء الورشة الإقليمية الاستشارية الثانية للبرنامج (نوفمبر 2001) أما القسم الثالث: فهو قائمة بموارد غير مصنفة أو مشروحة.
