يسعى هذا الكتاب الى تقديم دراسة تشريحية للمؤسسات والمجتمع الإسرائيلي، كما يركز على شبكة علاقات إسرائيل الخارجية، في محاولة لتقديم دراسات علمية دون تهوين أو تهويل على النحو الذي يفيد القارئ والمتخصص، وأيضاً صانع القرار في الإحاطة بكافة الأبعاد الخاصة بالمشروع الصهيوني الذي أفرز "إسرائيل" ككيان استيطاني احتلالي.
وتتبنى الدراسة نظرية الصراع الإجتماعي الممتد، والتي تفيد بأن هذه النوعية من الصراعات تتسم بسمات خاصة تجعلها تستعصي على التسوية بمجرد توقيع اتفاقات بين القيادات السياسية، إذ تلعب المتغيرات الديموغرافية، أي البشر، دوراً رئيساً في كافة التفاعلات الخاصة بالصراع، وتظل كذلك حتى بعد تسويات القيادات السياسية وتدخلات الأطراف الخارجية.
من هنا يبدأ الكتاب بدراسة حول "البعد الديموغرافي في مسيرة الصراع ودوره المستقبلي"، ويأتي بعد ذلك التعامل مع الوقائع الخاصة بالكيان الصهيوني، فيتناول الفصل الثاني "الإقتصاد الإسرائيلي من النشأة على قاعدة المساعدات الى طموحات الهيمنة الإقليمية".
ويبدأ الفصل الرابع "التعليم في إسرائيل: معضلات البقاء والدمج والهيمنة"، قضية الدور الجوهري الذي لعبته وتلعبه منظومة التعليم في الدولة الصهيونية.
أما الفصل الخامس فيتناول "النظام السياسي الإسرائيلي" والتأكيد بداية على النشأة غير الطبيعية للدولة على أيدي عدد من العصابات والمنظمات الإرهابية.
ويعالج الفصل السادس "المؤسسة العسكرية الإسرائيلية: القدرات والأدوار الإستراتيجية".
أما الفصل السابع فيتناول قضية "العلم والتكنولوجيا في إسرائيل: الواقع ونظرة على المستقبل".
وأخيراً، يتناول الفصل الثامن "علاقات إسرائيل الخارجية".
