خلق الله -سبحانه وتعالى- الإنسانَ من ذكرٍ وأنثى ليؤدي كلٌّ منهما دوره في الحياة، وأوْكلَ إلى كلٍّ منهما ما يناسب خِلقتَه وتكونيه، وخصَّ كلًا منهما بواجباتٍ وحقوق تتناسب مع فطرته وقدراته، إلا أنَّ دعاةَ تحرير المرأة في الغرب؛ وأتباعَهم من العلمانيين ما برحوا في إزالة هذا التناسب وهذا التكامل، وتقديمِ النموذج الغربي في المساواة والتماثل بين الرجل والمرأة، وتطبيقِ ذلك على المجتمعات الإسلامية تحت دعواتٍ كاذبةٍ، وشعاراتٍ رنانة؛ بدعوى السعيِ للدِّفاع عن حرية المرأة، وتحت شعارِ حقوقِ المرأة، وتفعيلِ دورِها في المجتمع، وإلغاءِ المجتمعِ الذكوري، ومصلحةِ المساواةِ، دون ذكرِ مضامينِ تلك المساواة، وأنَّ المرأةَ قائدةٌ في جميع الميادين، ومن خلال مراكزَ ومنظماتٍ نسويةٍ ما برحت في نشر ذلك الفكر في المجتمعات الإسلامية مستخدمةً في ذلك مؤتمراتٍ دوليةً تُعقد تحت مظلةِ الأمم المتحدة ظاهرُها الاهتمامُ بقضايا المرأة وحقوقِها، ولكنها في الحقيقة تبُثُّ السمَّ في العسل، فهي تسعى جاهدةً إلى تمرير مصطلحاتٍ ومفاهيمَ غامضةٍ، ومن ذلك ما حصل مثلًا في مؤتمر القاهرة للسكان الذي عقد في عام 1994م، والذي انطلق منه مصطلحٌ من المصطلحاتِ المبهمة، ألا وهو مصطلح ((الجندر))، ثم أعيد تكرارُ هذا المصطلح في مؤتمر بكين عام 1995م، فقد كان من أبرز المصطلحات المكررة في ذلك المؤتمر. ونظرًا لكثرة تردُّده في المؤتمرات والمحافل الدولية، ومؤسسات المجتمع؛ كان لابد من دراسةٍ تُجلِّيه، وتبيِّنُ المرادَ منه، وتبيِّنُ آثارَه على المجتمعات الإسلامية على المدى الطويل، فكانت هذه الدراسةُ.
