لقد نهج الإسلام منهجاً محكماً متوازناً للرُقيِّ بالنفس البشرية، وتهذيب طباعها، وتقويم إعوجاجها، وتطهيرها من الصفات المذمومة، حتى ينشرح الصدر وتطمئن النفس، وتقرَّ العين بمحبة الله تعالى ورسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وتذوّقِ حلاوةِ الإيمان.
والمنهج الإسلامي المتكامل في تزكية النفس يُعدُّ بحقِّ مفخرة لكل مسلم، فهو العلاج الحاسم والدواء الناجع لما تعاني منه البشرية من إضطراب وشقاء، إنه السعادة الحقيقية والحياة الطيبة في الدنيا والآخرة.
ولقد حاول الكاتب جاهداً أن يبرز معالم هذا المنهج من خلال صفحات هذا الكتاب، فقد لمس الآثار الطيبة بالإقبال على إقتنائه وإعتماده منهجاً في بعض الجامعات.
من هنا، تبرز أهمية الحديث عن منهج الإسلام في تزكية النِّفْس والتي يمكن تلخيصها في النقاط التالية: 1-ضرورة إرشاد الناس وحثّهم على العودة الصادقة إلى رحاب هذا المنهج وبيان مزاياه وثمراته اليانعة، وأنه العلاج الناجح لما هم فيه اليوم من تخبط وضلال، 2-الحاجة المُلِحْة لإبراز المنهج الإسلامي في تزكية النَّفْس بصورته المشرقة المستقاةِ من الكتاب والسُّنّة، 3-إنخداع كثير من الناس بنظريات علم النَّفْس المادي الحديث الَّذِي يغفل الجانب الروحي والوازع الديني من الكيان الإنساني، 4-بوادر الصحوة الإسْلاَميَّة التي نشهد آثارها اليوم في كُلِّ مكان لا بدَّ لها من رعاية وحماية.
